Two buses collide in New York City, injuring dozens


In recent months due to mechanical problems carrie kahn npr news this is npr and this is wnyc in new york i'm sean carlson the new york city fire department says thirty two people are injured after two nj transit buses headed into manhattan collided in the lincoln tunnel thirty one of the thirty two injured are being treated at area hospitals eight people sustained serious injuries but nobody is in critical condition the rear end collision took place in the center to about about nine fifty this morning the port arthur port authority says both buses exited the tube in the tunnel is open though there are delays this is a developing story we'll have more information as it becomes available through the evening on wnyc it's been three days since four tornadoes touched down in parts of new york felling trees.
