Salvation Army spreads Christmas cheer in Chicago


Members of the Chicago community found out what all the toy drives and bell ringing are about during the holiday season as the salvation army served Christmas meals and also handed out clothing and presents to around two thousand people on the northwest side they served a man named David who says events like this strengthen community bomb blast us would would get any of the community to know each other but get into the community to work with each other you don't simply come to come one strong community to help for the people that that come come in in of of people people that's that's on on alcohol alcohol or or drug drug I I have have drug drug problems problems or or things things of of that that nature nature there's there's help help here here the the salvation salvation army army also also fed fed thousands thousands of of impoverished impoverished cargo ins on this Christmas day
