Harvard, MIT sue to block ICE rule on international students that would prevent many from staying in the US


Government being sued by Harvard and M I T so far over the ice policy. It's a new policy from ice foreign students here in America on education visas. Well, those visa's no longer valid if the school they're attending is going online this fall. Under current rules, international students aren't allowed to take online courses. But those rules were lifted for spring and summer of this year, the result of the Corona virus, so I could have chosen to continue extending that same policy through to the fall semester, Ehrenreich and Melnick with the American immigration counsel, some students would be allowed to remain if they took what they're calling a hybrid model here of online and in person classes. Universities himself hasn't haven't all decided what they're going to do this fall. Any foreign students pay a premium to attend Southern California universities like USC
