Begin with the latest out of DC following a news conference with President Trump. This afternoon where he ratcheted up the rhetoric on China and the World Health Organization. Its hard line on China by very clearly outlining some policy positions that have been telegraphed previous administration officials in recent weeks in a policy package unveiled today the president said the US would be revoking visas for students and researchers with Chinese military ties the US would be studying accounting practices for possible delisting of Chinese companies. They'd be eliminating special treatment of Hong Kong and severing ties from the World Health Organization. Chinese officials ignored their reporting obligations to the World Health Organization and pressured the World Health Organization to mislead the world when the virus was first discovered by Chinese authorities. Countless lives have been taken in profound economic. Hardship has been inflicted all around the globe. The president stopped short of disrupting the phase. One trade deal or sanctioning top party officials even so the event was immediately panned by China. Who's global times? Say expect the heat to get turned up on this rhetoric going into November.
