New York - NJ Transit’s 5-Year, $6 Billion Plans Focus on Infrastructure and Reliability


New Jersey transit has unveiled a five year capital plan that seeks nearly six billion dollars in additional funding to address reliability and safety governor Phil Murphy rolled out the plan yesterday if you're gonna get one thing right it's the ability to move people and things around better than and now safely safely vertically with this pandemic better than in any other state in America major projects in the capital plan include elevating part of the century old Hoboken terminal to protect against flooding and repairing or replacing aging rail bridges retaining walls and signals the plan also envisions expanding and upgrading bus garages to accommodate a greater number of electric
