Listen: United States, Saudi Arabia And Bill Cunningham discussed on Coast to Coast AM with George Noory
"Talk about and the democrat and the democratic women in the house and the Senate for the lab. Last several years for the last few decades when I take up the banner of prohibiting in the strongest term in America, female, genital mutilation. Why is that? Well, look, you know, they it's clear that feminists do not wanna focus on the real horrors out there being the against women and a lot of those horrors are in foreign countries and United States women have every right to choose their past their education, their their profession, and we have horror that happen. Every single day in countries, like Saudi Arabia, for instance, where women cannot well, they say women can drive in some cases, but they can't vote they can't own property. They certainly can't get the rights to their children if they divorced. It's a horrifying situation for women in Saudi Arabia and savvy don't don't focus on that. They certainly also don't focus on how many foreigners come to the United States and bring these sort of horrifying traditions with them like female genital mutilation, which happens in many Muslim countries. Women are sort of their their genitalia is removed or maimed in some ways. So that they cannot get pleasure from sexual intercourse. It's a as you said, it's a horrifying practice. And and when we we have seen this. We have seen this in the United States and the current Bill in congress violence against women act does not include protections or punishment for it doesn't even recognize that this occurs in the United States until that happens. This Bill is shallow. It doesn't really address the true violence against women. And it certainly doesn't address the violence faced by many minorities wonder, if my Muslim female members of congress have been sexually mutilated. Who I don't know? But they certainly aren't standing up against this practice. We'd even seen a doctor at a prominent medical facility who defended this practice, and it is a very simple thing to address this issue. And and to focus on this issue in the latest Bah violence against women act, but they don't and again, it is it's typical feminine mainstream. This organization's to ignore the true, horrors out there towards women and focus on very small things or at actually in the case of our now to to implement policies that could ultimately hurt women. It's sort of the good intentions end up with really bad results. Gunnlaug independent women's forum. I would encourage all Americans to check out the website. I'm looking at it. Now, it's great stuff on at about college debt about paycheck fairness about what your women really care about conversation with poster Christian, SOLAS Anderson, but. Joanie gun. Thanks again for coming on the Bill Cunningham show, my friend. We'll do it again. Thank you."
