Patricia Jefferson Daniel named Houston's first Black city secretary


Houston mayor sylvester turner has named the first african american city secretary in houston's history our government reporter. Andrew schneider has details patricia jefferson. Daniel has been the interim city secretary since two thousand eighteen. She's worked for the city of houston for over thirty six years. Starting in the city secretaries offices a typist among other things. She's played a major role in setting up new computer systems for city hall. Daniel succeeds anna.
