Appeals Hearing Set for Dallas Officer Convicted of Killing Neighbor


A hearing for a former Dallas cop trying to get her murder conviction tossed is set for this afternoon. Amber Geiger's attorneys say she was defending herself in 2018. Because she missed took both of John's apartment for her own and believed he was an intruder. She's serving a 10 year sentence. John's family has since come out in support of a bill in the state Legislature, known as Bo's Law, which would clarify the castle doctrine that allows someone to use deadly force against an intruder on their own
