A Scandinavian airline will soon take bookings for the first commercial electric powered flights. Scandinavian airline systems or SAS are set to open online reservations for short distance flights aboard electric passenger planes. But travelers would have to wait 5 years to depart, where the commercial launch scheduled for 2028. Those booking can choose from 30 seats on each of three flights in Sweden, Norway and Denmark and will find out the exact departure date via email once scheduled.
