Listen: California, Kaethe And Medicaid discussed on Bill Handel
"And well regarded by the way by many people. All right now, yesterday, two hundred and fifteen billion dollar budget was passed by the legislature. And the governor. Is going to sign it next week. And so, first of all, let me tell you a little bit about the budget. Then I'm gonna tell you some reality in parts of the budget that are absolutely despicable, and how California works. And by the way, not just California US congress every other state. All right. So. The new spending on schools homelessness, healthcare for undocumented immigrants, and they've moved the let's pay. Let's expand Medicaid for illegal immigrants from eighteen which is now kids end at eighteen and we'll move that to twenty six after that we're still not gonna pay really aliens right for Medicare and because that would cost billions of dollars and even with this budget is it's going to happen. So more money for public schools. A hundred one billion dollars for Kaethe tell through K through twelve education. Now, keep in mind, almost fifty percent of the entire budget of California is about education. They'll be hundreds of million dollars each ease pension pressure on schools, more money for special education programs. Preschool, one hundred twenty five million dollars, ninety eight million to those undocumented, young adults which I told you about under the age of twenty six that can enroll in medical for low income people medical care. And bringing back the individual mandate didn't work on a federal level, when that part of ObamaCare was, in fact, eliminated. But how do you pay for all of this? Well, it's they're gonna find people, they're gonna be there's gonna be a penalty if you don't buy insurance, and with that penalty that is going to give subsidies for middle income, people who need help in buying insurance because we've talked about the cost of not only medical care, which is ridiculous. But also insurance to cover medical care has become in sane."
