New home sales mostly unchanged in October


Commerce Department said new home sales unexpectedly slow down during October. Those were down 3/10 of a percent to an annual rate of 999,000. That follows a modest climb of 1/10 of 1% in September. The figures falling short of economist estimates. They're expecting new home sales to jump by 1.1% to 970,000. The decline comes his new home sales dropped 2% in the South region and 1.5% in the West.
