California governor says few if any schools likely to reopen this school year due to virus


California public schools are likely out of session for the rest of the school year governor Gavin Newsom made that somber announcement this afternoon while giving an update on the covert nineteen outbreak I would plan and assume that it's unlikely that many of these schools few if any I will open up before the summer break USM's nearly ninety nine says nearly ninety nine percent of California schools have closed because of the virus that amounts to more than six million kids whenever they finally returned to the classroom the governor says pending a federal waiver students will not have to take the usual state
