City leaders they're getting an update on the city's efforts in addressing the outbreak let's go to K. next ten seventies market Carrero live at city hall yes they are they heard from the emergency management department head saying there are two things that are on top of their list won the most vulnerable homeless population working to make sure that there is a plan in place view among people in the shelter and second leading the elderly right now they say they intend to keep twenty five senior centers open for folks to come up and pick up the food as they normally would while also exploring ways to maybe do delivery in that respect LA police chief Michael Moore the council this afternoon said they recognize the people and easy but also added that that the vast majority are sheltering at home if in fact they can do so we have the jubilee fire here as well and that there are fifty motions that are being introduced today related to corona virus with regard to the city's response to the outbreak one of them I saw looking at providing funding in getting hand sanitizing stations at the the metro bus and rail stops
