Twenty two years playing in six thousand games in ninety seven countries it is number twenty two Jersey retired at Madison Square Garden curly Neal today passed away at age seventy seven in Houston Texas baseball fans are sharing photos and memories on social media to help fill the void of no major league opening day postponed indefinitely because of our health emergency MLB commissioner rob Manfred tells CNN he still hopes there will be some form of a twenty twenty season meanwhile baseball Jersey manufacturer fanatics has converted part of it's a Pennsylvania factory to help produce medical mask for health care workers and first responders in the fight against coronavirus sports updates at ten forty after the hour bill Schwartz come news news time for eleven fitness frightening time some of us need a pick me up and joining us on the common news line is Paul called well of the Seattle men's chorus in the Seattle women's chorus and Paul you've come up with an idea of something that you think might just make people a little happier this weekend what do you do it five minutes of absolute joy that that it's called the Seattle window thing along at seven o'clock on Saturday evening we want everyone to throw their windows open and sing along to the song by Fleetwood Mac don't stop on our Facebook page we provided tracks if you want to sing along to those we've also provided clear cheap but what the whole city United in song is going to be sold much more so everybody just opens their windows and starts singing don't stop yeah just like you normally don't do you don't open your windows and blast your music and sing along but for five minutes that night that's what we're gonna do the whole city is gonna rock with one stop take videos of yourself dressed up in costumes if you want to and then hash tag your videos or pictures to fast track the adult thing along afterwards and then we can see how much fun we all had even though we couldn't all be there together what made you come up with this idea I know we saw the people of Italy uniting by singing anthems and pop songs and it was so moving to see them doing this is that what got you going well that was a part of it time a lot of time on zoom call with my fingers this weekend being on his own because the sound the audio doesn't support it we didn't really even tried but we've been together and we realized how much we missed singing we live just how much just the sense of just general depression and isolation can take over and stole it we have our windows and they're singing our who aren't seeing all open windows that look out and smile and wave and just be gauged in our community and that's that's really what we need right now because the sad part about it is that what happens what is that in order to save our community we are having to be sort of pushed away from our community so we want to just take a moment to change that just very purposefully and very joyfully altogether just to remember that we are all in this together and we got it so a Seattle windows sing along that's Saturday night seven o'clock until seven oh five it's just a five minute commitment and what's the website address Facebook page and it's called Seattle window thing along Paul called well with the Seattle men's chorus and Seattle women's chorus great idea thanks for inspiring all of us thank you Paul we're so excited thank you Lisa and there's a push to show your thanks to.
