Listen: Travis Kelsey, AFC And Philip Rivers discussed on CBS Sports Radio
"Philip Lindsey in absolute beasts, this chairman, and I know at the end of the year, we'll do our fantasy football awards show. Like we did last year. But just real quick off the top of your head. You think Philip Lindsey the most valuable waiver wire claim this season, man. It's gotta be up there. Got you a full year to it's not like he was a mid season Zac, Stacy type guy he was a full season started. You love Zack. Important waiver claiming. Yeah. A lot of people got Adrian Peterson off the waiver wire. I grabbed him in a couple of weeks but output Lindsay's production ahead Adrian Peterson this year. Yeah. I mean, I'd have to give it some thought I'd have to pontificate on it. But he's definitely on the shortlist. Absolutely. And then you're right to teen and Alan absolutely deserving of being a baller this week, man. A guy who's dealt with injury. Each of the last couple of years, we've expected this kind of season out of them. Finally, how often by the way, do you get a guy who writes those long white sleeves? I love that look especially dude playing down in Carson, California rep in the long sleeves but a big week there for for Keenan Allen and for for Philip rivers, use inching his way into the the MVP conversation. Also now pregnant with his ninth child you hear about that's all that's that's strange that a man's pregnant. I know it's it's very do. It all his pregnant kid him making number ten you get the life out there. You can feel the entire offense or defense now with the the rivers family. How about that? Yeah. The the freaking Turkey bowls on thanksgiving are going to be epic at the rivers house. Seven on seven five on five scrimmage at six on six baby. Philip rivers. Yeah. You know, what here's a guy in his career? He hasn't hoisted the ultimate prize. And this may be his last chance, but I was talking to Sean Salisbury this week hope and I asked him which l a team more likely to win their respective conference chargers or Rams it took them awhile, man. And he actually said the LA chargers. Yeah. Man, because I think the AFC's a little more open the NFC. You gotta go through the saints. I mean, you got the bears. There's a couple of tough teams. I know the AFC is no picnic either. But with the chiefs, maybe on the way down just coach, we'll see how this all shakes out with with the Kareem hunt exiling, and then the patriots, you know, are beatable. So I'm just saying I think it's a reasonable question to ask and Salisbury actually went with the chargers. So maybe just fewer teams to beat in the AFC. That's the logic. You gotta beat the pats. But other was not not a whole lot of peace out there. You said at the Steelers this is kind of been a I ball is in buses, we could have been heavy on the NFC the AFC west, and we can keep it right here. Because I got another baller for you out of the west this weekend. He's a Kansas City chief Travis Kelsey a hell of a weekend for the tight end position. Twelve catches a hundred and sixty eight yards you and I were just discussing off the air two touchdowns. But he easily could have had a third member. He made that sliding catchy went down in the defender. Just kinda ran by him and tipped him with his finger which marked him down. He would have had a day. For well over one hundred and seventy-five passing are receiving yards and three touchdowns. Instead, the twelve for one sixty eight in the two what are the best days of the year for a big baller? Travis. Kelsey.."
