Listen: Bronx, Norwalk And Lincoln discussed on The CBS Evening News
"Traffic and weather together on WCBS sponsored by the osbournes. So where do we begin Tom Kaminsky? You don't wanna let's begin at the approaches to the GWP will start there. Westside twelfth avenue. One up east side delays from the twenty s on up toward the of Cambridge. And then from about the one forties up to the outbound. GW cross Bronx and to end. Now, you get across the George Washington Bridge and you start northbound on the Palisades Parkway. It is still jammed from exit one in Englewood cliffs up their exit two in alpine and looks as we still do have a collision there, and at least one lane is blocked. So it's been very heavy there. Hudson river crossings at the Lincoln, and Holland no good at least forty five minutes. Plus at the outbound Lincoln, and Holland the inbound side with at least a forty five to sixty minutes away at the Lincoln and the inbound Holland with at least, thirty minutes away note free on the northbound side of the hutch around the area Westchester avenue. We did have a collision there it now appears to be cleared. There may still be a couple of flares in that right lane. But so it is still really heavy on the northbound side headed Bronx. Right across the Whitestone bridge, in fact, right into the Bronx and then up into that area of co op city, but again, at least the traveling's in the process of being reopened, lots of volume on the northbound side of the England for way in for their as well, Connecticut turnpike, you're just getting a look there that is still slow I Stanford up through dairy, and then still very heavy from Norwalk right on up through Fairfield and on up through Bridgeport Merritt Parkway seeing the volume in for Stanford more delays Norwalk right on."
