Dallas hosts Q&A livestream with police chief finalists
The city of Dallas continues for the pool of candidates is getting smaller for its next police chief. Seven finalists for the position answered questions submitted by City Council During a virtual roundtable interview this week. Irving police Chief Deaf Spivey and Dallas Deputy Chief Ruben Ramirez spoke about the importance of police community relationships, number ones who are going to call the police when something doesn't look right, and if they don't trust the police Department, they're not gonna make that phone call. The community's deserve a police department that will look at data and then we'll look at data from a 90 degree difference in another 90 degree difference in another. City manager, DC Broadnax is expected to make a higher by the end of the month.
