Listen: Holland Tunnel, Hudson River And Tom Kaminsky discussed on The CBS Evening News
"Holland tunnel. We've still seen very big delays air. It is starting to ease up a little bit at the Hudson river crossings, especially at the Holland tunnel. We are getting a little bit better. Now from the varick street approach down to about a half hour, but still very heavy. They're still very heavy on canal street, the outbound side of the Lincoln down about twenty minutes late now, we've had delays inbound side GW GWP. At least the forty five minute marks from eighty ninety five a little bit better from the other approaches. And again, we go back on over to the Holland tunnel that barrack street approach still very heavy with at least a half hour delay metabolic Parkway. Southbound of heavy still from the northern state right down for the southern state of collision. There is now cleared but still very heavy through that whole stretch. It's been very heavy as well. On the New Jersey turnpike eastern, western Spurs of the turnpike right on down through the interchange. Fourteen. We've also had delays on the Connecticut turnpike northbound as you get from Stanford up through Norwalk, and again, some delays as you get up Fairfield and on for Bridgeport. I'm Tom Kaminsky and the WCBS traffic center. Not for long Craig Allen. We have some showers over western jersey. The entire western portion of the state actually from Sussex county all the way down"
