Listen: Carrie Fisher, Disney And Luke discussed on The Glenn Beck Show
"We're just talking about the new Star Wars. Trailer that came out. It's the last one of the series. And I watched it looked good. But I was kind of like, yeah. I think the last one the last Jedi being part of a series hurt. The series a decent think. Disney bought this, and perhaps marvel at exactly the wrong time. Maybe I still think they're gonna make a fortune of this. I mean, I'm gonna go see it going to be there opening. I mean it had the mystique Star Wars. Had mystique. And now, it's it's kind of like, I think you're right. We were just talking about the what was the last one called the last Jedi last Jedi. It should have been the last Jedi was and when when when laya da she dies in the middle of the movie in the production in real life and rely dead. So why did they why didn't they just let her float away in space? Yes. Because it's it's one of those horrible scenes ruins an entire movie horrible. She's floats away in a space, and then somehow swims back through space to get back to the ship. And they're like what what is going on. She actually died relief. This is going on this road. We're gonna have her float into space, and it's going to look at mazing. And then you look at it. You're like, okay. This is a disaster. What do we do? Then the blessing of all placings, the actual actress dropped dead it real life. And they're like, well, let's just still bring your backup computer generator face will do like no make Luke live. And let her just float that's one of those things off. That's where those things where you need a good coach just to come in Kate. Okay. Game change. All right. This is working we're playing so. We're going to. Blown her out. We're putting you in go. That's what had that's what should've happened. I think they should have gone to the point where after instead of running seeing the way they did it. They should have just said, you know, what we just don't reference lay get we just act like she'd ever existed. The last Jedi. Somebody couldn't come up to him and said, hey, where's Princess Leia? And he just does that hand wave right and laya never existed lay never existed. Hey, guys land never existing. Why why am I talking about something? And that would be over over. And you'd be like why why what's that? And then they could drag it up in twenty years from now when they're making even crappier movie for our kids now, it's a terrible loss to lose Carrie Fisher, who is awesome in many ways, but like to prevent them like she's floating off into space. It would lewd it would have been a good ending to her run at on the on the series, let her kind of float off, and then she could come back and do the ghosting, right. Do that. She can do the Jacob Marley like return. Right. And"
