"Free commercial free normangoldman dot com, by the way, part of what we're doing. Here is is senior league landless time in about two seconds. And we did senior legal analyst. Diamond at first our two separate topics. The senior legal analyst time, we're about to do involves the US supreme court, and it's a really really important case. So stick with me for just a moment. But in the first hour, we did the Michael Cohen and Paul Manafort situations, and here's the latest in the Michael Cohen case, you remember this is Trump's personal lawyer and fixer he pled guilty to eight federal crimes in August. And he just plead guilty what ten days ago was a couple of weeks ago with robber Molitor, lying one cow lying to congress right to to the Senate about the Trump Tower deal. That's when we got that scandalous material about Michael Cohen revealing that Trump was negotiate pardon me Benedict on branding imaging and positioning Benedict. Donald was negotiating into June of two thousand sixteen when he was getting Republican nomination still negotiating Trump Tower, and my own personal in Moscow, by the way, and my own personal view is it was never going to be a Trump Tower Moscow. Unless I believe Putin was using as a piece of bait. Putin was. Using it to play Benedict. Donald there could have been a Trump Tower Moscow, but Putin's sets the terms, and it would have been under these terms and conditions Benedict. Donald becomes you know, what of the United States the sanctions get lifted and the sanctions get lifted. So completely that Benedict Donald can do business with Bank, which is a sanction Bank, which he would get the financing from Putin. And that's what Benedict Arnold was agreed to he agreed to do business with Bhuttan with a sanctioned Bank. And Putin was saying, hey, this is great you become you know, what are the United States getting rid of the sanctuary? Sure, I'll be happy to work with you on that Trump Tower project, but until then Putin was just holding it out like a piece of cheese to a mouse. Hey, you want this? I mean, it was it's classic classic playing of a sucker. Anyway, check the first hour free and commercial free at normangoldman dot com. Because Michael Cohen blew the lid off of that one. Right. When he pled about. What ten days or two weeks ago? He pled to lied to congress and covering up. The fact that Ben McDonald was doing this study Trump Tower deal in Moscow all through the campaign was lying about it. So he Michael Cohen to eight counts of financial crimes right in New York. And then he pled to one count with the special counsel. Now, they've had a bit of a chance to go through the papers. It is the southern district of New York. The local US attorney's office southern district of New York, that's Manhattan World Trade Center site, right? That's that's that area. Okay. They really want to throw the book at Michael Cohen. They're really mad at him. And they're being they're taking the lead Robert Mueller. The special counsel has filed a concurrent mental. He followed the zone sensing memo 'cause they're doing a two for one today. And and so Robert Muller has he's just hold him back. He's basically taking a back seat saying we don't really have an opinion on the time. But whatever time you give him don't add because of a donate any more time because of us whatever time you give them for us. Just make it run concurrently with the time you give them in New York because of New York view as attorney in New York and the New York you at the US attorney in New York is saying why blog him up they really are angry at the guy. They said he lied to the IRS for years. Anyway, Michael Cohen's got bigly problems. He's going to the big house as they saying the old movies. He's going to the big house. It's only. The question of how long as Paul Manafort? Here's the latest of what's going on there. The special counsel. Now, this this is the special counsel only. This is Robert Mueller and Russia gate is going his filed with with the court is just file just a little while ago. I mean like within the last ninety minutes if not less, and he's laying out some of the details. He saying this, by the way, as far as I can see there aren't any there there. Anyway. There's not a lot of detail. But here's the detail that matters. Well times they met with Manafort twelve times three times before the plea deal at four of the post players so three times fourth bleed deal nine times after the plea deal at four of the four times of those nine times after the plea deal. They cryptically say there were quote, other department of Justice prosecutors attended now I, you know, they're referencing other department of Justice prosecutors from other divisions, and they don't say quite who those people are they don't say anything else. So that that's a bit murky, but what they're saying is they met with Manafort twelve times three times before nine times after an four though sessions. They had other prosecutors there they confronted Manafort and his lawyers on November the eighth, right? Just not not not even a month. Tomorrow be a month anniversary, they confront them on November the eighth, and they said, we know you're lying to us. We've caught you lying to us. And we're going to give you a chance to show that we're wrong. And so they went through this process and that did not satisfy the special counsel at all. So they are saying, and it's being reported now that that some or one or a group of lies that Manafort told involve Benedict Donald himself that's the state of play right now. And obviously as things develop throughout the rest of the show. I'll keep up with them as best. I can. If you've got anything to."
