Listen: Menton Allentown, Philadelphia And Wildwood discussed on 24 Hour News
"Quiet week except for the snow down the shore. And we've got quiet conditions as we head through the end of the week as well. Temperature wise, though, that's going to be the story temps right now are not too bad. We still have this south west wind, which is allowing temperatures to stay relatively elevated. We're not seeing them drop as quickly as last night last night. At this time, we were already seeing twenties across the map still in the upper thirties and Philadelphia will. Menton Allentown forty-one down in Wildwood right now. But it is feeling a little bit cooler. Thanks to the breeze right now feels like sub-freezing Philadelphia and reading his right around the freezing Mark in Wilmington, and it feels like twenty nine currently in Allentown. We do have a secondary blast of chilly air. I like to call this a reinforcing shot as soon as temperatures start to try and moderate a little bit. We just knock them right back down with another blast of cold Canadian air not much going on though as we take a look at storm scan three most of the flurries and snow showers dying before they reach our region. There could be a stray one up in the Poconos overnight. But that is about if you are going to feel the difference in the wind tomorrow, and it's all thanks to this big cold Canadian high anchored overhead right through the end of the week and into the weekend. So wins around the northern flank of that high coming out of the north west that means highs only in the thirties and low forties. The weekend mornings will be in the low twenties and teens, but as I'll show you just a moment that high is actually helping us out a little bit as well. Overnight partly cloudy. And cold thirty one degrees tomorrow sunny, but very cold and blustery with a high of forty will be headed down the Franklin square for holiday fest tomorrow, keeping it in the city thirty eight degrees, but it will feel like the twenties out there. So if you're gonna come out and say, Hello, make sure you are bundled up. I know I will be wintry weekend. Highs only in the thirties Saturday and Sunday normal highs forty seven, but here's the good news. Thanks to that big cold high. Anchored overhead watch what happens to this storm it tries to get close. But the edge of the precept looks to stay south it just can't come north because that highs blocking it and then that storm moves out to sea. So this could produce over a foot of snow in parts of the Carolinas perhaps heavy snow possible into Virginia. But it looks as of now as though that storm will stay south of our area. Now, we'll bring us increasing clouds on Sunday and Monday, and then as that storm departs temperatures drop again next Tuesday and Wednesday. So it's generally dry, but very cold forecast. Feeling like more like mid January.."
