Automatic TRANSCRIPT
WhatsApp is now allowing users to edit messages for up to 15 minutes after they send them. The chat app says in a blog post users can correct misspellings, add more details or otherwise change what they have sent, the ability to edit messages started rolling out to people worldwide and will be available to all users in the coming weeks. That's according to the company owned by Facebook parent meta. WhatsApp says those receiving the messages won't be able to see the edit history.
