Resurgent Sally threatens drenching in Alabama, Florida


Hurricane Sally strengthens to a category two humbling the Florida panhandle south Alabama and even southeastern Mississippi with heavy rains storm surges strong winds and power outages so it made landfall this morning near Gulf shores Alabama with a hundred and five mile per hour winds national hurricane center senior specialist Stacy Stewart says it could strengthen even more people need to understand that even though Sally is beginning to move inland or will shortly that the hazards associated with this hurricane are going to continue for many days those hazards include tornadoes storm surge and lots of heavy rain catastrophic and life threatening rainfall Stewart says besides Florida Alabama Mississippi Sally will affect Georgia I'm Julie Walker
