Los Angeles Parks And Rec Retires Ranger Horse ‘Scout’ After 6 Years


Retiree is ready to kick up all four legs after six years with the Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks, a horse named Scout is leaving his saddle behind. 19 year old Palomino quarter horse was part of the park Ranger division mounted unit that patrol the trails in L. A parks, medical issues forced scout off the trail and into his new home near Griffith Park, where he'll be taken care of by a pair of experienced equestrians. Bill
