TSA Plagued by Staff Shortages, Security Delays Expected
The T S a is desperate for workers to and it's getting tough to meet the growing demands that many of the nation's airports the T S. A is projecting staff shortages at more than 100 of the nation's airports. Some have dozens of positions unfilled as more and more people crowd in for summer travel with the pandemic easing. The Washington Post reports. The T S a administrator is asking office employees to volunteer at airports for more than a month. They could do non screening duties. At Charlotte's airport, For example, some airlines are recommending people get to the airport 2 to 3 hours before their scheduled flight because of security delays.
