House approves bill to prevent rail workers strike in bipartisan vote

The House voted overwhelmingly with 79 Republicans joining Democrats to impose contract terms on four objecting unions, just three Republicans signed onto a separate measure that would meet workers demands by adding 7 sick days. Here at The White House press secretary karine Jean Pierre says though President Biden supports sick leave for railroad workers. He does not support any bill or amendment that will delay getting this bill to his desk by this Saturday. Jean Pierre says shippers need assurance ahead of next Friday, strike deadline.
