Schools are re opening in Roanoke Virginia as a man hunt continues for a marine deserter wanted in a murder case Roanoke city public schools were closed Thursday when police learned Michael Alexander brown may have been spotted in the city Roanoke's police chiefs at the twenty two year old combat engineer may have been tapping on the window with his grandmother's home brown is wanted for questioning in the death of his mother's boyfriend he's believed to be armed and considered very dangerous Roanoke residents are being advised to report any suspicious activity but city officials have lifted a shelter in place order I'm Ben Thomas
