Listen: New Jersey, Tom Kaminsky, Whitestone Bridge discussed on Wayne Cabot and Paul Murnane
"Let's get the traffic and weather together every ten minutes on the as yet towns Kaminsky. It will have a little bit of rain Friday and chaos at the bridge just an awful morning at the inbound side GWP well over ninety minutes, plus especially from the New Jersey turnpike, eighty ninety five approaches it his way back into the Ridgefield park area. The problem is on. Well, now, we've got another problem we've got a at least on the upper level under the apartment couple of lanes blocked with the collision. Now, we do have another problem on the lower level with a stalled vehicle there. So even the foreign Forty-six approaches well over forty five minutes inbound Lincoln that's building up pretty quickly. It's at least thirty minutes. Now, the inbound Holland with about a twenty minute delay. We've had big delays in New Jersey still seeing the left lane blocked on the northbound side of route eighty seven as you get into the area of exit thirty six in March down we had a tractor trailer collision we had just about everything shut for the longest time. Now, we are down to the left lane. Being blocked, but again, big delays from at least that area of harder road. Southbound truck lanes of the New Jersey turnpike still heavy exiting for interchange. Thirteen for the gospels bridge. In those outer lanes tractor-trailer collision. Still in the process of being cleared there jammed in queens now on the westbound side of the Grand Central in toward Q gardens. And then from the ally into city field with a collision, and at least one lane is blocked there right at northern boulevard. Still seeing a lot of heavy volume on the Whitestone bridge and Whitestone expressway southbound toward twentieth avenue with a crash there even heavy wrapping around from the northbound cross island and starting onto the southbound side of the Whitestone expressway, I'm Tom Kaminsky with the new Subaru was sent ground patrol, the rain, and for that matter, the warm weather will not last. Let's go live to the weather center. Here's Craig Allen. Exactly. You know, we've got rain this morning for much of the area, the south and east suburbs. Not too much after last night's downpours. And that moved on out. And now we're watching the second batch which has been coming down and soak. The area north and west of the city for the last several hours making very slow progress from west to east so that means that it's going to take a while to get off the east end."
