According to the police report, the off duty officer says another car collided with his along the highway in northeast. And when the other driver refused to stop, the officer followed them, the driver in the other car used a handgun to fire shots several times at the officer's car, the officer fired back before the other driver who had three passengers in the car drove away the officer was not hurt but their car has damaged to the windshield and more D.C. police are still looking for the other driver involved. The only police say 21 year old damari Norris of Alexandria was the man found shot in a parking lot located on Vernon square drive this week, he later died at a hospital. 22 year old friend Francisco Juarez also from Alexandria is charged this morning with second degree murder in the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. Police say it appears that Moore shot Norris multiple times in the upper body and a witness held him down until officers arrived on scene two firearms were found at the scene we're told, Juarez is being held without bond and investigators are still this morning looking to determine what led up to the shooting in the first place. Montgomery county police say the public school bus was dropping students off along walker's choice road, not far from the Lake Forest mall, when a 7 year old girl who was trying to cross the road was hit.
