Washington D.C. Sends Voter Registration Forms To Residents Incarcerated For Felonies

In prison or getting a hand with voter registration in D. C. The board of Elections sent 2400 registration forms just 107 prisons across the country, where D C residents are serving their time. The board is also working with the Federal Bureau of Prisons to make sure Inmates get the forms and then return them on time so they can cast an absentee ballot for the November election. D C recently became the nation's first place to restore voting rights to convicted felons who are still behind bars.
