Listen: President Trump, Jeb Bush And President discussed on Mark Levin
"Just sit there, and you just go you're making SHI, you know, what up? That's what you're doing. You look at the pictures that came out of the White House of Melania Trump, giving Laura Bush toured the Christmas decorations, and then Laura Bush spent time with the White House staff that she knew from her time as a resident of the White House and took pictures, it was a picture of two lovely first lady's past and present coming together hanging out. You know, how nasty it got in the campaign between Jeb Bush and Donald Trump when Donald Trump kept calling him. You know, what what was it low energy jab, and it got nasty in the campaign? Everybody knows it got nasty even Jeb Bush, put out statements, saying President, Trump could not have been nicer or more gracious after my father died, but the media not talking about that. Oh, no. They're talking about. Well, the president grimace, well, you know, I just couldn't sit there and the whole tie that we're supposed to be honoring this guy. Just couldn't think get past the idea that Donald Trump sucks. Their coverage. That's literally what the coverage is. I want to get to your phone calls in here. Get some of your reaction to this as well. One eight seven seven three eight one thirty eight eleven one eight seven seven three eight one thirty eight eleven by the way, many of you know, that we are on blaze TV, Mark Levin is and I have joined. Now, blaze TV, crtv with minute show, the Ferguson file so we talked about this the media buys on the Ferguson file if you are a member of crtv. Check it out there as well. Let's get to your phone calls now. Go to let me go to darla. You are on the Mark Levin show. Ben Ferguson, filling in today, darla, you hear all this media. Attention obsession getting it wrong. Are you surprise? I thought Trump was incredibly gracious. I thought he was very kind. I thought he was I think Jeb Bush's words, say it. Well, President Trump could not have been nicer a more gracious after my father died, and that's coming from Jeb Bush where they don't have a great history. They campaigned against each other for the same job. Yes. Been it's very nice to speak to and I did listen to your first three callers. And of course, I was like, oh my. Oh my goodness. It's not about you in depth haulers. And as I told you screen combined. Sorry, I forgot his name is a wonderful, man. I'm a veteran, and I know the protocols in the military and President Trump all he did to honor Bush forty one. What's his call? And I cry. I mean, I watched seven, but I haven't even turned on much of the news because I can't stand all the conjecture and chatting s entropy even on my favorite FOX and go ahead, and you know, people that are listening to some mail. They want. As an American when president or President Trump locked in there with first lady Malania. Did his coffin in the rotunda? I burst into tears. And I watched the service, and I saw President Trump asking is anyone who has any grace in decency act at a funeral. There. Was no chuckling. There was no shifting about is. I didn't see the armed folding. I don't see anger netface. You know, what I've seen that face? I see referencing that face. And all this chat and talk about how wonderful President Bush forty one was anybody trees remember that Clinton's came as a town. Instead, it's the economy stupid. And I was so offended that you would speak because he wouldn't speak the American people. He was calling President George Herbert Walker Bush an idiot, and there was even one I don't know if it was Newsweek or time that had something on the cover about the wind factor. Well. Connor who fills in here for Mark as well? He wrote a great piece today in the Washington Times about what you're describing which is you know, the media now acts like they love George Bush forty one they've never loved him. They they tore him to shreds ripped him apart and cost him the White House as much as Ross Perot jet. And now they're like, oh, we all loved him. No, you didn't you were you were you ripped him. And you did everything you could to destroy him. And now they act like, oh, we love him. He was such a statesman and a great man, they love him after it's amazing how they try to rewrite history about and then and then they used their fake love for George Bush forty one to then attack Donald Trump because they clearly cannot stand him either. Cut. Joe could beat the president and is President Trump. And I love that man. I actually was Cruz supporter that once President Trump was the nominee. I said, well, I'm getting behind him. And as as a lot of conservatives did a lot of conservatives did exactly what you just said there. You're absolutely right. There are so many conservatives that said all right? And look, I think that's what you you know, Jeb Bush's comments about Donald Trump in the way that he treated a family this week. Darlene. I appreciate your phone. Call is is again showing that you can't put politics aside. You can put that aside and be human beings. You can just honor a man without making it controversial, which the media could not do this week. They refused to they could've just covered the story, which is in a former president died, and we and we tell his life story. They couldn't hold it together to even pull that off Terry you're on the marklevinshow. Ben Ferguson, filling it tonight nights to have you. Go ahead. Very bad. How are you? Jerry, do me a favor. Hold on. I just realized I gotta heartbreak here. We'll come right back. I'll get you much more coming up on the marklevinshow. We'll be right back. Mark levin.."
