Listen: Trump, Trump Tower And Executive discussed on Chip Franklin
"Willing to commit crimes and have been found. Guilty of crimes you might say. He's the head of a criminal family. Yeah. You might say that. And I think when the indictment diamond start to come out if Kushner and Trump junior managed to somehow not getting dieted amaze me because to me the Trump Tower meeting is just with the tweets, and then the lie about when when Trump was preparing the statement for Trump junior, and then the time line when he says that he didn't know about it. If he. Those written statements. I if he doesn't have right counsel with him. You know, he screwed up. Oh, yeah. And the council would be you know, Rudy. Did you never saw? Tummy. Yeah. Right. No. It's anyway. Eight oh, eight oh. Eight one phone number. You welcome to to call in. And and talk about this. Just you know have a little bit together. When you do it. The the tweet today about Cohen Michael Cohen was charged by the federal government. And by the state of New York. Cohen has a laundry list of things, and you know, he's protecting himself. I think from Trump, and there's no way that relationship is going to be repaired. And because what he's already apparently said, you know, he was he was in there a long time with Tillerson, and again, the the fact that he recorded some of his conversations with Trump. You'll get this. And you and you think about the people that have been close to him that have fled Ryan's Priebus was fired by tweet as we heard. I forgot about that that Louis Nelson told us, and and then Kelly's going to be leaving Sam on these guys are chief-of-staff, they're close. I mean, they hear a lot, and it's not privileged. In fact, the Trump administration tried to get executive privilege against Kelly going in there. But that doesn't apply there's no executive privilege executive privilege is the idea that. The courts or the the the legislature can do something. Like, for example. I don't think that you should have a law that can protect Muller because I think the president has the right to fire mother. It's in the executive branch. How can you you can't step over there? And try to protect them. You have. Absolutely. There's absolutely nothing in the constitution that gives congress at our what's better is to let him fire him. And then congress can say that's what they can say that's obstruction of Justice. But then they still can't do anything anything. No, no. They have power and it's called impeachment. Everybody tries to pretend like that's a four letter word, it ain't and it's not it's literally not literally not let's go to Ben Ben you're on K G O. Crazier times. But what are your thoughts? I don't understand what everyone's hangup is what the word socialism like with Bernie Sanders. Everyone loved Bernie and all they had to do was like throw that word out there. And everyone's like, oh my God. Oh my God. Like when it was when my grandparents were my age, I'm thirty three. One of them could go to work the other one could stay at home, raise the kids. They could save money that could afford a house. They could afford two cars both of them had insurance and back, then it was a mixture of capitalism and socialism, you know, now, it's so far one way or the other of that like people don't get it, and you know, social security, it's not a bad thing. Every you know, what here's the deal. People don't realize socialism is probably seventy five percent of our society already. They just don't like the word, you know, the the. Yeah. And you can still be a rich person. You can still have things, you know. But I think at the end of it when most people said you really need to have thirty five billion dollars. I mean shouldn't a person with that money be paying a little bit higher tax than maybe nineteen percent or. I'm a perfect example like I just made over a hundred thousand for the year, and I live here in California in the bay area. And it's just not enough. It's nowhere near enough. Yeah. That's insane to because then corporations don't pay taxes corporations are treated as people which they're not. And then you have in the capital gains the capital gains income it should be treated, zinc calm. The idea. The capital gains is taxed at fifteen percent. And when when the rest of your money will be taxed at thirty three percent or or higher. You know, it's pretty you're right. And and again, I have a whole list. I did this thing. It's on my Facebook page, and I may have tweeted out again, just you name almost anything in our society, and I can show you there's part of its socialism. There's probably read about nine million miles of road in the United States that you've never driven on that you paid for that socialism. Now, you're paying for other people. And when Trump gets twelve billion dollars to the farmers because of his tariffs that socialism. I mean, it's like it's actually well. Yeah. That too, but yeah. Hey, Ben, thanks for the call, buddy. Appreciate it, man. Keep listening. All right. All right. So yeah, it is. It's all intertwined, and it's. A couple of stories here there at the Marin county is not as a hippie as one might think. And there's some people that are pissed about it. And I'll tell you why that's come up next and your calls. Okay. Gio franklin. KGAN?."
