Listen: Alabama And Clemson And Clemson discussed on National Championship - Alabama vs. Clemson
"We give you the biggest stories, but we go to our peeps or part of the NBC family. And right now, we head out to the bay area. We talked to Don Hawes who is the sports director at the NBC affiliate in Birmingham, Alabama. That would be w v t m thirteen Don, I don't care how many people are out there. Because I am fascinated excited about this game. But I am curious. What is the buzz right now out in the bay area because we had seen the trend of of the ticket prices that Alabama and Clemson fans might not be making the trek out to the west coast. So what's the field right now? Well, I can tell you just walking into the stadium or finally starting to see some Alabama Clemson fan we've been out here since last Friday, and there was nobody around, but I'll say this that was the case in Miami. Last week when we were at the Orange Bowl with Alabama in other fans really weren't showing up until game day. I though that is certainly the case out here right now, there are a lot of Alabama Clemson fans out here. And I'm surprised by that I kind of hear the same stories. You guys have all week about Alabama, Clemson fatigue, and they're playing this championship gave out here. We're college football's not much of a priority. Like, it is in Clemson or Tuscaloosa, but the fans are showing up today. But that they are slow arriving. Don when you look at this game against Clemson. And the ones we've seen previously. What's gonna make this matchup different? Well, I pick a big part of this is whether or not Alabama can slow."
