Chicago Mayor Lightfoot On Fans At Soldier Field: ‘We’re Having Conversations’


Air, Lightfoot seems to have brightened her outlook on bears fans. Returning to soldier field, but only slightly last month, Mayor Lightfoot suggested the chances were less than 50% of Barrys spans would be back in the stands this season. She said the team owners hadn't presented a realistic plan for having hundreds of fans back at Soldier field safely. But at an unrelated news conference, the mayor was asked for a progress report, Channel five reporter Marianne Ahern asked if Lightfoot, a huge sports fan, would like to see a game like any other Bears fan, of course. I would like to be there were having conversations with the Bears, and we'll see where they where they read. That sounds like maybe we'll see.
