US lawmakers push for Congress to vote remotely

Many lawmakers will be casting votes from remote locations following the physical distancing restrictions house Republican leader Kurt doubt with Dave Lee on the morning news this morning not all members will be in the chamber some of them will be in their offices of multi at home some of them will be you know wherever they are in their cars and they'll be able to vote remotely so kind of an interesting thing but but of course like many Minnesotans and and many Minnesota businesses we have to take some steps to keep our people safe but we still have to function so this is the the adjustment that we made their next session is a week from today while lawmakers have been working the telephones and video conferencing for their committee
