That's all coming up mornings on Main Street with Bill Main Good Monday morning to everyone in investigation continues after an hour long standoff at Northeast Georgia Medical Center early Saturday morning, that standoff leading to the arrest of a man wanted for a murder in Roswell. Gainesville police Lieutenant Kevin Holbrook, saying over the weekend. The incident started about three o'clock Saturday morning to the hospital for a subject who was taken there for mental evaluation. He then fled the scene with a gun. That man 36 year old Jason Hall of Roswell, eventually arrested without incident. After an hour of negotiation. He was then turned over. The Roswell Police Department on murder charges his girlfriend found dead earlier that morning of a gunshot wound again. The case does remain under investigation. Meanwhile, murder probe underway in Gwinnett County after police found a man a man dead inside a Lilburn apartment. Officers responded to a 911 call about a person shot at the Aurora at 2700 apartments. When officers arrived, they found one man in his thirties dead from gunshot wounds. The name of the man that died not released until relatives have been notified. No suspects or motives were given, but police are asking anybody who might have information to contact them. Major renovation project is underway at the Gainesville Civic Center, the first big remodel for that historic facility since 1992, according to Gainesville Parks and Recreation Director Kate Madison. Work is moving pretty quickly and should be finished by mid March, she says. Really, the current health crisis made this the best time for the renovation. Georgia Baptist Conference Center in Toccoa has a new owner, Pine Cove of Texas. Pine Cove operates 11 gospel centered Christian camps in South Carolina and Texas, including one just across Lake Hartwell from the Toccoa property. Following renovations at the facility, The former Georgia Baptist Conference Center will host a new overnight youth camp in the summer of 2022 programs expected to expand and subsequent years.
