Listen: CBS, SNL, Jessica Alba discussed on KFC Radio
"Was gonna say you you really came in at the exact moment where he is. He's really revved up about this rollerblade thing. So I mean, we're indoors and he's on. Yeah. That's a commitment shower with them. Tomorrow knows elevators, which is a pain in the ass here there. There's so much easier. But yeah, we'll get the talent up a little bit. Well, maybe you can get your ramp or something like a ramp that goes right from the window to your office down to the street. I'm not good at ramps. I did when I was younger. I wanted to hang out the skate parks. I thought that's where the cool kids out. It's real people smoked weed and stuff like that. And they do. Yeah. I was right. I knocked out of the puck. But I realized at a very the MO the moment I ever stepped on a skateboard. I realized all these are impossible. I could mess about that stuff that that was not my scene. So I try time grand army guy. I can't I can't drop in could drop into the half pipe. The same. I could skateboard a little when I was younger in Detroit. It was not like a big thing. But I could actually get up on a board. I could turn around. I could I can't even stand on one. And and push with the other. I'm out on the whole skateboard scene to me. I, but the thing that was really great was I ended up teaching my kids how to do it. And I was like, yeah. I I was telling him like, I don't know how to do tricks and stuff, but I can teach you basics like, you know, how to stay up on the board. How did like stay on flat surfaces, and they took to they did great really really good. And then they got older, and then they had friends who could skateboard and then they started hanging out with skateboarders. And I was like, oh, wait a sec. Even the real gateway job. Oh, yeah. This dude looks like he gets stoned all the time. So you're timing. SNL was. If you had the SNL like give me like a one word summary every time their life changing. It's two words. I'll give it to you. I feel like that is probably for many people. It's like the the tipping point point of inflection where your career just way or the other. I just say as an actor it prepares you differently for show business than any other job. Like, if I were to my first job in show business would have been on a sitcom where you just an actor on a sitcom, and you go in you, learn your lines, you you don't learn how to produce television. You just learn how to be coming actor. But like SNL be my first job. You learn how to produce sketches you, you know, you have an opinion of the stuff that that you write morm-. And so having that is the first job was like an amazing gift to have, you know, because it was a completely different education. So now, you're doing no activity. Yes. Which is it's so CBS CBS all access, right? So you can you can let it fly. Yes. You can which I I would imagine surprise me. It is. I mean. Yeah. I mean, they decided to. Like make it edgier because they had the opportunity to have this streaming service. And they this is the first sitcom that they've done on CBS streaming. So it is a little bit different from what you would expect from CBS. I like that. I feel like it's almost going to be like a surprise you see little CBS I logo and you're used to these normal sitcoms. Yeah. Detected told that comes in. He's like fuck you that. Let's I wanna hear I can watch this. Yeah. Yeah. These it what you will Ferrell's executive producer, right? Yes. And he he played a part season one. I saw Jay Johnson in their Jason soukous Amy sedaris who I love I'm a huge fan of the sedaris family. Yeah. I'm always trying to get him to read David sedaris books, but he doesn't he doesn't like reading. They're good. How did this? Have you turn to Davis? We got ABC they're going through. Some heavy hitters elevated. I mean, it's it's a great cast in each season. There's somebody new like like J K Simmons is done both season this season. We had. Jessica Alba in a couple of episodes. He's a somebody. She's great. And she like surprised everybody has how how funny she was.."
