13 dead in California crash, some ejected from SUV carrying 25 people
On a California highway leads to the deaths of 13 people. It was just past six o'clock in the morning. There were 25 occupants in the Ford Expedition and SUV designed to carry eight or nine people was jammed with more than two dozen when suddenly it drove into the path of an oncoming tractor trailer. Moments later the crash California Highway Patrol officer Omar Watson, unfortunately 12 of the occupants, including the drivers to come to the injuries on scene. The 13th person later died in a nearby hospital. The driver of the SUV was from Mexicali, Mexico.
