I'm Ryan Gorman with me this evening, James Berland er on the board and joining us Now I have Jamie Atkinson, managing director and head of distribution for Swan Global Investments. He's part of the leukemia and lymphoma Society. Light the Night event. Jaime, Thank you so much for taking a few minutes to talk to us tonight. We appreciate it. Oh, thank you. Glad to do it. Well, first of all, let's get into your story if you don't mind and how you eventually ended up connected to the leukemia and lymphoma society. Well. It's about 3.5 years ago. I got to hear those those difficult words you have cancer. Um, inform the darkest moments of your life. If you ever hear those three words, I cannot describe the impact. But you know, like tonight our whole thing is out, bringing light to the darkness to cancer research and cures. And so I guess, while I was in chemo treatment, one of my colleagues she reached out to him and lymphoma society and want to know what our company could do to get involved. You know, in a way to support me, and her name is Julie Holton's. She's terrific. She runs their office here in Tampa. And anyway, we got started that way. Aye missed that year, but I've been involved the last two and it's just One of the best things that's ever happened may just being involved in the organization. Talk a little bit about the mission of the leukemia and lymphoma Society for those who aren't aware of the work that the organization's doing. You know, until I got diagnosed, I really wasn't aware of the less but what I will tell you is about every three minutes. Somebody in this country gets diagnosed with blood related cancer today. We've got 1.3 million people right now. That are struggling on With cancer. That's blood related so that so that dancer question mission of the molasses to cure And I really emphasize the word cure. That's that's the goal, Leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and my Loma and ultimately, what we really want to do is improve the quality of life for the patients and their families..
