Well, if you're talking about even transmits that shifts and automatic transmission doesn't really have a does. Well, it has a planetary gears. But we have a lot of drums and clutches and all that stuff. And then a cvt has a a chain and drums in India. Special clutches that slip inside of it. So it it depends. Some of the cvt have come down in price as far as repairing them still quite expensive. So it depends really on the make and model to be honest with you. So they're all repairable. Yeah. I noticed that even the half ton pickup trucks. I don't know one of them. Cvt. The new ones I've taught my head. I'm I'm not aware of any pickup trucks that do not yet. But we're up to six and eight and speed transmissions in them, balancing and everything else that goes along with it. Yeah. We do have a lot of options there when it comes to these later, mild model trucks. But like Dan said, yeah, we got a lot of eight speed transmission is out there. And what they've done is. They've taken some of these they've taken the same transmission? They've added a nother as you want to say gear in between which helps with fuel fuel mileage, etc. In towing stuff like that. But we don't know what's wrong with hundred bucks, a whack for them to check it out. The let me ask you this question. Does it can you feel it or does the oh, you can actually feel Hewlett on the car come on? And then go out when it stops it. Sometimes you just really feel it it's random what's what it's two thousand fourteen Chrysler what? Yeah, I got it town and country how many miles I got to watch. Twenty nine thousand. Thought mileage should be able to find it. You know, I we do it all the time. So I don't know if they're just not wanting to spend the time to actually find it or or what they're doing. That is not a common car that we hear this on breath. So, you know, the reason I asked if you could actually feel it is whether it's programming. Yeah. What I was saying is the reason we asked if you could actually feel it is because if you sometimes it can be a programming air with the system set up to sensitive to pick up misfires, but if you're actually feeling it. There's a misfire there for sure and should be able to track down. Chrysler, says sure you got it. They confirm it. They said we don't know what to do. We mean, they don't know. What to do? That's what they said. They said it might be in Bank to that is and it's been checked out three times. At a better bucks a shot. And they keep telling me. We just don't know what to do about it while I tell you what Bob if you you're out in santee we ever Elko location. If we can help you out. We'll we'll we'll find your misfire for you. There's probably something going on we either you probably have a spark plug with a cracked electrode or something like that or a coil. That's dropping intermittently. So. Machine. They got you can't tell that on a machine you gotta be able to qualify to diagnose it kind of worked down to pinpoint. What I'm telling you is they could probably diagnose it. They're tech. Don't want to spend the time to do. So because it takes time for sure they wanted to go exploratory surgery. Like what I mean, you could have a valve issue. But I doubt it how often does this happen random. It's very random. Yeah. So even if it keeps coming back on the same cylinder, Saint Schiller, take some type of act showed let's start with a plug and coil around. She would happen. So I mean, I can it can be happening at the house all by Tom. I get like over here shop it could be gone. Yeah. That's fine. The computer stores, you even though it's a random misfire, you can go in and look in your arm. Freeze frame Dadar mode six and we could see wits cylinder has been picking up most misfires as far as that goes and kind of head in that direction. So there's ways to go through and pinpoint this and figure it out for sure fuel injection could be, but I doubt it very uncommon. You know, you have an injector probably they don't tend to come and go. I would bet we've got something that's causing a drop of a cylinder misfire such as a spark plug electrode cracked, right? Could be because the thing purrs like a kitten otherwise. Yeah. And they can intermittently do those kind of things or coil dropping out. Suggests bring it over and. Yeah. Yeah. You know, you can bring it over as long as what's the check ins night's been on if it's been to them since then and they cleared it out. And it hasn't come back yet. You're going to have to wait till it comes back as myself. It will store freeze frame day to give us a call. Then we'll get set up give the car in. We'll get a look that figured out for you. Okay. Maybe a little carbon build up. We're thinking definitely not a head gasket failure. We are checked for ingestion of coolant, so we swapped coil. Plug with one in three the next morning. Guess what happened? Misfire jumped over to number three cylinder. Now. We know. We have a problem. Now, we're chasing the parts that I'm well. That's what I'm talking about. Like, you say, well, if you're only getting a PO three hundred you're you're misfire counters are going to show up. So let let's take a look and see what what what's misfiring where is the jumping all over if so then we got a way to go cylinder, then we got direction to go. We'll talk about timing the Brian. We just move some parts from here to there. And guess what happened? The misfire follow the two parts we exchanged. So now have a plug in a coil on dealing with. Definitely not a cylinder. It's not a fuel injector. Yeah. Because we can't take the problem. I can't take it for more than singer spot. That's what I'm talking about like, Brian Saint spend some time on this sounds like they don't really want to spend the time that said. Yeah.
