Listen: Canada, Wilson, Tim Hortons discussed on In The Draft Show - NASCAR Talk
"Dr. I do. Great green token like hell. Now. Down, don't do anything. Welcome everyone to end. The draft with Wilson am wise. I am Wilson here in somewhere in the middle of nowhere in Canada. Meanwhile, right across from me, believe it or not. He's in US. I'm in a foreign country. Live from studio of the Dakotas version. Two point zero one, Mr. Scotty, wise, Scotty, what's going on there, man, the best part about you traveling for jobs. You forgetting the intro in what show you're doing. I know right? I could be the best part of the entire thing. Okay. Things are great house Canada in my defense in my defense, I got back to the hotel on the head free beer. So I just need to tell everybody that in the first place. Okay. But okay. So here's the thing I have to ask you before we talk about NASCAR, where we're going to talk about NASCAR. We had the race in Kansas Kentucky in Turkey, if Duckie, and then this weekend Wor in New Hampshire, and we're going to have to paint scheme preview picks all that stuff. All right. So I've been to Canada before, but only for the day drive across the border. Do a couple of things touristy things come back. This is the first time I've really been in Canada. I have so many questions for you. So number one, I have no clue how far anything is away now, because I look at the streets on, I, you know, they were like, oh, something such and such a hundred meters up the road. I'm like, I don't know what that means. I just don't know what that means. Number two, I don't know how much anything costs. It seems like everything is super expensive, but it might not be. And number three, there's a Tim Hortons everywhere like everywhere. Tim Hortons is the Starbucks quivalent. Got more. Have you have you reached the road sign where it says, you know how have mileage on the highway where it says three and a half miles of this. Have you have you got to the one where it's seven point two kilometers until this exit those in Calgary drives a highway. Next thing, you know it's it's about it's about seven point, two kilometers like. Why not? Just wait till seven kilometers. Why they they do the weather in the morning, and I have no clue whether it's going to be hot or cold out. That using the Sean O'Connor method where it's just like see celsius garbage because you don't know with thirty thirty two hot, but no thirty. Two I've gotten no in candidate is I got no clue, man. And then the really weird part is in the hotel room here. I'm right outside of Toronto, but yet they have to channels not one but two from Boston. And so that's just confusing. Even more. That's kind of weird because usually it's buffalo, they get it from. Yeah. I thought it would be somewhere different, and and then I have never felt more like I'm in the foreign country, like half of everything's in French. Every bottle I buy is one. One side is English, other sides, French, and then everywhere I go, they have stuff on the menu that I'm not familiar with. And I feel like an idiot, trying even at a fast food restaurant, I feel like an idiot trying to order things now. No, no, it's really bizarre it. It amazes me that every restaurant sells patina. I mean, it seems like like a cliche, but every single one does every single and a lot of people say the Putin mcdonald's's probably superior rally a lot of other Putin's. Yeah, just because the fry the Julian fries, they using the hold better with the gravy. Oh, maybe I'll have to try that tomorrow then or in two weeks when you go back, I know, right? I might have to come back here. Speaking of going back mardi mardi mar, finally hitting that stride back to victory lane, dumb in nation. All honesty like that. That was not. That was a fun race.."
