Well what is facing a number of lawsuits in the wake of a data breach that affected hundreds of locations more from correspondent John stillness nearly eight hundred fifty stores along the east coast for the victims of the malware attack which the convenience store giant said was stopped back on December twelfth officials with the company based in the suburbs of Philadelphia believe them now where had been collecting card numbers customer names and other data for about nine months The Philadelphia Inquirer says at least six lawsuits have been filed seeking class action status in one of them the suit says the data breach was inevitable due to quote inadequate data security measures and a cavalier approach to data security in store and gas pump purchases were all affected at every location from Pennsylvania to Florida
