Listen: Kenya, Partner, Maur Hospital discussed on Your Why: A Chapelwood Podcast
"Coming on Welcome back hope. You all enjoyed the interview as much as we did. As I reflect back I think the coolest thing that resonates with me the most was is about how Ma'am comes in and it supports these people why partner with them and helping and saying. Hey you have these gifts and talents and we're going to help you cultivate them and it's not the other way of hey you're lacking with and we're GONNA try to teach you it. It's you know that positive spin on it which was really cool for me. The here well it. I think it's great that it's not just an assistance program is not just a handout. That you're really are building. These folks folks up and being able to help them figure out how to improve their lives how to improve what they need to do to maybe get a better job or go back to school and whatever that might be what their goals are well and to see that they can have goals and that they aren't looking to just. Let's be able to keep the lights on for the next thirty days so I think that that's great the way this organization Ma'am has grown and is being able to do so much in the community as was talked about on the podcast man has many ways to get involved. we want to encourage you all to go in and get involved with those and to get plugged in and just in any way you can together because they have so many programs there are so many ways to get plugged in and you can find where you feel like you can get plugged in and serve. Have anything to add to that. well as I say I mean you can do everything from fixing electrical equipment that gets donated to to Helping in the resale shop if you like shopping to if you're a business person that can help someone improve their interview skills so that they can go out and get a better job. There's just all different types of skills needed for the volunteer jobs man so for our call to action this week week We want to encourage you all to go out and were were one episode away from our season finale and this is great and we talked about this on episode four. About how if this this is an encouraging you in some way to get involved. Then we're not doing our job. What this podcast? That's the whole point of this. It's great to hear these stories and it's really encouraging but if it's not if you're not having a response to that then this is kind of wasted time for us so I WANNA say is the call to action is we've given you many opportunities go out and just do something whether it's extra side for volunteer or it's the state to pray it for. Someone asks next week. Do something that as you have listened to the podcasts. Maybe got placed on your heart as your call to action this way to get a bi we are super excited for next episode will be our season Finale episode seven. We're going to be having Stanley Guitar. he is from Kenya. He has helped start. This organization called Friends of Maur Hospital and has served faithfully for years In a lot of people know him just amazing man and then we had actually the new. CEO of the Mauer Method Hospital. In Kenya. Mr Moretti That's going to be honest well and we're going to be sitting there with them about what has been one of the longest partnerships that we've had here chapel with on the global level And talking about that at all. They're doing doing all the new stuff they're doing. And all the cool stuff guys doing Kim extra tune in for that. It's GonNa be an extra long episode for finale than we are going to be taking a break over Christmas time in December will be back in January. We'll have more information next time on that so so next time. Find your why uh-huh.."
