Listen: Joe Biden, South Carolina, Iran discussed on MSNBC Morning Joe
"But when you look in those early states in South Carolina numbers in particular or eye-popping this week where he's up by thirty one points overall against Bernie Sanders, and among black voters, gene. He's up by forty three points in South Carolina. And and those kinds of numbers we'll see if they hold whatever. But potentially potentially can be decisive. You have to do well on with African American voters if you hope to win the democratic nomination for president so far. Joe Biden is doing much better than anybody else. South Carolina is the first test of African American support after and Hampshire where they're very few black people. And if Biden if he makes that sort of showing he'll be very very difficult to beat. I know it's very it's early days. And it's Joe Biden, so anything can happen. But but that's a very significant factor in in his lead right now. Anyone entering the race right now? The question I will be asking is with so many candidates. What is so specific about you that you feel that you can you should be chosen among all these candidates? What makes you so different from all of them? And there has to be an answer get out because at this point. There's we're getting to like levels that are ridiculous. The bottom line is Iran has taken advantage of this country for years. Iran is in big trouble in temps of the military. We ought to go in the next time. They fired so much as a bullet of one of us ships. We had to go in and take over their Royal? I have no doubt about it. Other people say, oh, Donald might start a war. We're gonna have a war through weakness because this country is acting so weak toward Iran. It's pathetic. That is Donald Trump in December of nineteen eighty-seven on the today show joining us now, the president of the council on foreign relations, author of the book a world in disarray, Richard Haass, and former under secretary of state and political affairs and former special adviser to President Clinton policy coordinator on North Korea ambassador Wendy Sherman.."
