One person was killed last night when they were hit by a car in Tacoma. It happened on southbound five nine south of Alexander avenue east. Officers say the driver stayed and cooperated with the investigation. Police in Seattle are asking for your help finding a missing woman with dementia and memory loss. Martinez says she has spent more than a year telling her side to police and working to get a restraining order. My number one concern me and my children safe. But she says the restraining order and frequent calls to nine one one weren't enough. There's no doubt about it that the system failed me Pierce county. Sheriff's spokesman Ed Troyer says he understands Martinez frustration and says deputies are frustrated as well, he says, quote, you never wanna see anything like that happen. We're working hard. We have people out there looking for. For him. Now. It's Martinez tries to heal from being shot. She's on edge worried about her safety as well as the lives of her family and friends.
