One person was killed last night when they were hit by a car in Tacoma. It happened on southbound five nine south of Alexander avenue east. Officers say the driver stayed and cooperated with the investigation. Police in Seattle are asking for your help finding a missing woman with dementia and memory loss. The mother of three told Jennifer Sullivan system failed her Susan Martinez. Says the threats were nothing new. She says Tony French wanted their toddler, son. And he wanted her dead scared. I'm paranoid. I'm afraid to be out in public. French is wanted by police for attempted murder? I don't know where he's at. I feel like he's not. Done. I feel like he's on a mission Martinez was outside her Frederickson home the morning of September seven when a black Toyota race toward her. And I just heard the tire screeching and seen him. Try at me like and then start firing and out of the driver's side window still up because I've seen the glass break and Iran after being struck by gunfire Martinez ran into oncoming traffic deter him from firing at my house. I had kids sleeping inside. She says French sped away a nurse driving by jumped out to help her five to me. So I believe I wish shot three times. Martinez says she has spent more than a year telling her side to police and working to get a restraining order. My number one concern me and my children safe. But she says the restraining order and frequent calls to nine one one weren't enough. There's no doubt about it that the system failed me Pierce county. Sheriff's spokesman Ed Troyer says he understands Martinez frustration and says deputies are frustrated as well, he says, quote, you never wanna see anything like that happen. We're working hard. We have people out there looking for. For him. Now. It's Martinez tries to heal from being shot. She's on edge worried about her safety as well as the lives of her family and friends. My life depends on him getting caught..
