Listen: Tom Brady, Packers, Aaron Rodgers discussed on Kirk & Callahan
"Career conversations. And you look at 'em. Lebron? It's it's tough to to settle any of those debates because there's the what if game and the situation game who you played for and what area played in. I'm just worried about winning right now, and he's got five championships. So that ends most discussions. I think. That's how I look at it. Now. Chris Simms has very different opinion on the subject. He thinks the championships are overrated and his default argument is well under that. Notion. Phil Simms has a better quarterback. Dan marino. But five championships. Is something to take note of and we were looking at postseason record yesterday. Tom Brady's twenty seven and ten and Aaron Rodgers is ten and seven now ten and seven looks good until you see twenty seven and ten. And if he stays that way, tens of greatest ever if you take away two thousand ten when the Packers were the sixth seed, and they ultimately won the Super Bowl and won four games in the process. He's under five hundred since two thousand ten he's under five hundred. Or you may be right at five hundred because he was Owen one going into two thousand and ten so never mind still six and six. Since two thousand ten which is not great of all time territory. You want to be winning more playoff games than you're losing to truly be a great quarterback. But. And this gets back to the thing that gets Packers fans up in arms, but they should be up in arms because of what I'm saying not because of they perceive me as trying to cause trouble with Mike McCarthy with Ted Thompson with the Packers approach to team building. With the Packers approach to offense of football with the Packers approach to complimenting Aaron Rodgers with a defense that isn't good enough that that has contributed to the Packers not being more dominant than they could've been. And if you flip Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady does Aaron Rodgers have five rings and his Tom Brady still working on his first. Right. That would be a great alternate university. The problem with an alternate universe. You can't get quite that specific if there's an alternate universe out there. There's a lot of stuff that's different. But if there was a way to just simply change Rogers and Brady that would be a neat exercise in which guy would have been successful in which place PFC."
