Our top local story on news radio wbm Niles police have a man in custody after a fatal shooting outside of a nightclub early this morning. Hardy reports. We don't know what prompted it, but police say a 22 year old man from Niles was shot in the parking lot of mirage at the corner of dempster and Milwaukee just after 1 a.m.. Officers responding to a call attempted lifesaving measures, but police say the man died at the hospital. Police arrested a 25 year old man from northbrook in what they're calling an isolated incident. Nancy hardy one O 5 9, wbm. Chicago police continue to investigate two separate shootings at injured two small children on the city's south side yesterday afternoon. It was shortly after 5 o'clock, a 6 year old girl and a 33 year old man were inside a home with two other people in the 6600 block of south drexel in Woodland, when some one opened fire. Police say the girl was shot in the arm and taken to comer children's hospital where she was listed in good condition. The man was shot in the back and taken to a hospital, his condition was not known. That shooting happened just hours after three year old boy was shot in the face inside a residence in the 8800 block of south Euclid avenue, just two miles away. Police say the toddler was taken to comer children's hospital, where he was listed in serious condition. Chicago police have not announced arrests in either incident. Veron black, one O 5 9 W BBM. Three men were hurt in a washing and high shooting last night, police said a man ages 24 37 and 38 were standing outside in the 1300 block of west 11th street shortly before 1130 p.m. when someone fired shots then ran off. The three men were all taken to advocate Christ medical center where the 24 year old was in serious condition listed, and the 37 and 38 year olds were in good condition, no arrests have been made. Chicago city leaders worked to prevent a repeat of last weekend's chaos in the loop that included a bigger police presence, barricades, and curfew for teenagers. Meanwhile, passers from the south and west sides organized a walk, their goal was to paint a much different picture of young people downtown, passer watts and Jones a third of Salem baptist church of Chicago told CBS
