Listen: Clemson, Auburn Tigers, Trevor Lawrence discussed on Herbstreit and Fitzsimmons
"The two times they've been away from an Arbor. It was a loss to open the season against Notre Dame where they looked terrible. And then just a few weeks ago, they went over to Evanston looked very bad for for, you know, maybe two and a half quarters until they finally turned on just enough to to be able to win that game by three. So I personally think Michigan. Go on the road even though Michigan state's had their way with him. I think I think they're getting better and I think their defense will give them the ball in the plus territory, and I think shape Patterson in that running game will make enough place. I think Michigan win that game. You mean seven. And I'll put a stake on that one with your. You gotta want the, but I want to point go the points. Man. I it's fair, three thirty eastern on ESPN number sixteen and undefeated NC state when Ryan Finley in the boys quietly undefeated at Clemson, but Clemson, a seventeen and a half point favorite here. Herbie. What do you see. You're right, Ryan, Finley, I mean, he's he's a fantastic quarterback, a guy that can get the ball out of his hands pretty quickly and he's got some athletes around him. I think the thing that a lot of people wanna see is is just more of Clemson. We wanna see if clemson's is good as we think they are. Their defense at times has been dominant it other times they've been okay, but I think this is an opportunity for them to go out and and really show what they can do against a much more athletic team. And I think NC state, Dave Doorns a great coach. I think he does a good job getting his team to to play angry to kind of play in that underdog mentality. No-one respects human tally to be fair there. West Virginia game got cancelled because of a hurricane. So if you go down the list of games that they've played, I guess the two best wins you could say are Virginia in Boston College. But I think athletically this very, very different challenge for them to go up against the athletic ability to Clemson has on both sides of the ball. And incidentally, if you've not watched Clemson, check them out. And while Trevor Lawrence Kelly, Brian story continues to steal the headlines. Especially now that it's Trevor Lawrence's offense watched number nine in backfield the true, sophomore, Travis e. t n. While we all were trying to find Heisman guys. This guy just continues to go about his business very quietly and very dominant fashion. So I don't even care who the quarterback is for these guys. As long as number nine is back there running the football. He's averaging nine yards a carry and is having a monster year. So check him out. And I think frenzy state and Dave Dorn, that's the guy that they got a slow down and try to get Trevor Lawrence into some obvious passing situations. Seven o'clock eastern on ESPN also on ESPN. Radio will be there with Bill rosinsky and David Norrie on the call and the radio side. It's number twenty, two Mississippi State who saw beat. I mean, just beat the snot out of Auburn, two weeks ago. I mean, just chicken kicked the Auburn Tigers. They go into the bye week. They're, they're still hungry. They've had a week to calm down. Kirk at number five, LSU LSU's a six and a half point favorite Ellis there last week gained six pounds this week. Scaled online Herbie the scale you live. That was on on you by the way you challenge to me to not let you down last week and I had my boy, Jason price, and I six appetizers cigarettes. That's a decent. That's decent number. And then I will so done. We actually split the redfish for the entrepreneur on swear to you. Coach Nella. See, I should have told you that aspect because now of a sudden I hear the disappointment in your voice yet again, but neither here, nor there. We put a big caloric number of on Friday night every Fino's and uncle, Tim's tailgate after the game on Saturday night, Justin Gable. So you again coming up at the after this match up, but this is one Herbie Mann Devon white talking to him after the game. All LSU's. All American linebacker. This team is salty. They've got an edge to them.."
