I also think it's because he doesn't like us mostly. I mean, if you look at the way, he looks at us. It's like the way I look at my friends dumb kids because he's got some dumb kids. And I hate I hate watch. I just hate looking at like, they're not pretty and then they're also stupid, which makes it worse. So that's the way. Joe looks at us. I've noticed that look too. But it seems like it's only to one side of the table. The cowboy why do you feel that way about Jeremy Jerry's a pretty nice guy. Sometimes because Jeremy's just so sassy tonight show week eleven in the national. Can we call you Sassafras? I don't care what you call. He's a Sassafras. I wanna start. I've been called worse. I'm gonna start just saying whenever I say NFL Brock Osweiler with it. And just call it National Football League literally every single time. It is tough to read week eleven scores in the National Football League. We wanna do the Thursday night game. We talked about that too nauseam in our Friday night show the other night the Cowboys are suddenly looking good for the playoffs. Yeah. They beat Atlanta in Atlanta on the long field goal at the end twenty two to nineteen forty two yarder. I say long relative it what a chip shot, but it wasn't necessarily a long field goal. The Cowboys are now just one game back in the NFC east. They face the Redskins on a short week after their quarterback, shattered his leg complete fracture. And Cole McCoy is gonna start. Against Dallas on Thursday on thanksgiving. The Cowboys have an opportunity after Thursday to be tied for the lead in the NFC east and Zeki Elliott just destroyed the Atlanta Falcons running impassive Dak Prescott continues to make decisions that are just mind boggling sometimes, but he's not he he didn't give up the ball and all against the falcons, which was huge. And then that defenseman. I I mean that def- I can't believe I ever at any point talked the crap that I talked about them. But I didn't realize Jalen Smith enlightened Vander s we're gonna come out and be as incredible as they have been who told you that Dallas Stevens going pretty good. Joe did was Joe that was that was Joe that did that definitely not anybody else on this show done. But I mean when when in the last four years five years had could you say man, this Dallas defense is really really good even with Sean Lee on the sidelines. Like, never anytime. He went out the entire defense fell apart. But now you've got a kid and Vandereycken who looks like he could be the just the future. After that defense. He looks so fast know, we always criticize that team for making terrible draft picks and terrible decisions. That was not because a lot of people call that a region. He's worked out only so far in Dallas Detroit, pulls off a minor upset over Carolina. They win twenty two nineteen riverboat Ron win for to about a minute left to play in the fourth quarter. Didn't didn't work out for for Carolina alliance? Pull off the other one point victory. And I said this a couple of weeks ago the map Patricia has this team playing better than what they actually are to me. They're not a foreign sixteen and here they are at four and six I don't feel Matt Patricia has a lot of buzz right now is a head coach in the NFL. I'm looking forward to the next two to three years of map attrition because I think he's a pretty good head coach Matt Matt Stafford hasn't been great this year. I do agree that they're better than a foreign sixteen. But they're not much better than a foreign sixteen. My wife actually got mad at me because I she's we we do our family picks. We just picked straight up, and she's like should I picked the Panthers or the lines. I said oh pick the Panthers obviously, you should pick the Panthers now. She won't listen to me anymore. She said, I don't value your football opinion, you're moron because I told her to pick the Panthers even though it's it's Ron Rivera's fall for going for freaking two instead of kicking the field going and not playing for the Thai. But can you be a good football coach if you have a pencil in your ear? Sure pencil there. He'd be good coach, and you have a place she that is laminated. If you can't actually right now. I think it's funny. Yeah. I think he's a terrible co that means he's doing it for looks. And you know, what happens when you do things for looks. I guarantee you that pencils being put two years. She's having issues he is having issues within the locker room. There are reports coming out of Detroit that the players are not adapting well to his patriots style of football. Yeah. I heard that about four weeks ago, and there's still four and six and winning games. Which is why I think he's starting to win some of those players over and why the players that he doesn't win over will be gone. And I feel like it's going to be his system pretty soon. Here is a here's kind of a weird thing that no one's talking about in my opinion in this city. Like, I've literally heard zero people talk about this quietly Bruce Ellington caught six passes for fifty two yards for the lions in this game. Bruce Ellington of the Houston. Texans. Who was hurt this year who was waived by the Houston Texans a couple of weeks ago? Why did the Texans wave Bruce Ellington? They brought in Andre Carter. Who's like? Okay. He's not gonna play much in the slot. He's returning kicks here. And there you look pretty good returning punts. But he's not the same player. Bruce ellington. He's not as good as Bruce Ellington. Now Ellington was on. I are the Texans are allowed to bring two players back. Off of IRR. So this is one of two things. And I leaned the ladder to be honest with you the first is the Texans. Just don't like Bruce Ellington, they feel like they didn't have they didn't have use for them or the ladder. Which in my opinion is the actual reason. The Texans have two guys on. I r right now that they value more than Bruce Ellington, Bruce Ellington got healthy. And they did Bruce Ellington a solid and dilemma favored by getting rid of them, which poses the next question. Who are the two Texans that are coming off the because I think it's going to happen. Well, then I mean, Kevin Johnson is one obviously in the other one would be Deontay foreman. And we talked forms on the pub who I think it's going to be who Dylan goal. Oh, yeah. Obviously. I I completely forgot about Dylan Cole. I've saw. So when we were watching the game the other night, my my wife, my wife is like, oh, it's so good to see Delacour back on the field. I'm like nods Brian Peters, but don't work. That's coming. And I I would absolutely value. Dylan Cole on this defense because he might be their best coverage linebacker right now they need him out there, especially whenever they they're gonna make the playoffs. They need Dylan colon. Some of the defensive sets that they do to be able to cover some of these tight ends. Because tight ends in slot receivers. They've struggled with this year. And and they brought guys in thinking that they'd be able to shore some of that up with Dylan coal, you get back at least some of that. And then Kevin Johnson. They need the cornerback help. I don't even care. What you think about Kevin Johnson is a player they need help at secondary, just the depth. It's better now. Because now you have Andrea how supreme Jackson really is not even playing safety. Moore's playing a lot more corner. You see entire and Matthew play what they call the star position, which is basically a nickel corner. Cherise right. He's been playing. He's been doing some things. He's not I would consider them average at best. I don't think it's going to be back next week. Yeah. Why is that? Why do I have an alarm going off at nine fifty nine five? Why is it sound like that because I have children, and they do weird things on my phone. I don't know. Anyway. So the the quarterback position to me has been really weird because cherise, right? I never see any inbetween with him. He is average. But he's averaged because sometimes he has some really good place. And then he has really bad plays the balance amount. It's one or the other. I never see anything in between with them. It's either really good play or really bad play. And it's incredibly frustrating Eric Holden. Which who last week was weird because Romeo Cornell said oh, Erin Colvin's going to be back. He's probably not fully healthy. But he will be back. He didn't say win. But he he he was asked if Aaron Colvin would be back for the for this game this week, and he responded that he will go back to the tapes. I will say I cut the audio up myself. But then Bill O'Brien said, well, he's not as close as we think he is. And then he ended up not playing they need. They need as much help at cornerback as they can get it might have been the like if Aaron Colvin's eighty percent is he better than cherise, right? Type Odil to maybe he could have played. But I don't even think he traveled though, the colts blow out the titans thirty eight to ten I said last week that I believe. That two teams in the AFC south. They're going to get to the postseason. I still feel that way the culture red hot, Andrew luck. Looks like Andrew lock Marlin MAC, kind of an underrated player that they got back after week four. So defense is playing pretty well. This is a dangerous team right now. I laugh every time. I think about this every single week that goes by Frank Reich looks dumber and dumber for not taking a tie against the Texans every single day that goes by he looked sillier and sillier for not taking that tie. Because right now, I think there's a five six way tie for the six in the AFC guess who would be in the playoffs. If the season knitted ended today, if they just simply took a tie guess who called. Yeah. And and that's when it comes down to it comes down to the percentages that we talked about whenever he did. Did you see the colts winning this game? Like, we talked about this. We talked. I had I think we we both chose the titans the closer. I didn't. I could see them winning. But see them winning thirty eight to ten you know, sometimes. Not really good for Andrew luck hasn't been sacked in like five weeks, literally. Yeah. Defense is so bad though. Usually there is Leonard rookie. This is this is a different team. I mean when Chris Ballard higher, Josh mcdaniels and Josh mcdaniels spurn the colts the history of the colts could change. We look what's happening in Philadelphia. Frank Reich leaves and the domino effect. Looks awful. Carson Wentz looks like he has no clue doing back there. He's probably not healthy. They're running back situation is a mess. But look what the eagles are doing. And look what the colts are doing with Frank Reich. It's pretty impressive is just can never look at them the same for not taking tiger the Texans. I'll be honest with you might be a heck of a coach. But after not taking that tie. I will never be able to look at him the same. What's worse? What he did? Or what Ron Rivera did what Ron Rivera? I would say what right did because at least Rivera has a chance to win the game in that in that spot. I mean, it's a two point conversion you're playing for the win. It's a road game. You know, if it's a road game than whatever like Frank Reich, literally took a half a win out of his team's hands. And I hate this whole take. Well, you don't know what that did in the locker a Galvani? Is the T B S? These dudes in the NFL get over losses like that. They get over to three game loss like that. You're gonna tell me that they're not gonna get over a tie. And at that rally the troops in the locker room to propel them the seasons. They had an EMMY a break they didn't galvanized the locker room it took away half a win for a team that would be in the playoffs right now had he not done that. And if your team is so mentally fragile that you need something like that to galvanize them because you think they won't be able to bounce back from a loss like that. Then that's absolute track. You know, what what galvanized me more? I don't know maybe extending the game and giving us more of a chance to win. Then just not going for the tie like give us a chance to win later on in the. On the win more games later on give us a chance to make it to the playoffs. A better chance to make it to the playoffs. And really if I'm if I'm a coach player missed it back and look at that. You know, look, I get I know we tied. But at least we have a better chance moving forward than just taking a straight up loss. We have a better chance to make the playoffs later on.
