Maryland second in command calling on the state election director to resign after ongoing ballot issues following yesterday's primary Maryland lieutenant governor Boyd Rutherford says it's time for new leadership after ongoing problems with ballots first acquiring then delivering it now counting some ballots over Baltimore it's just another example of the challenges that have been occurring with the state board of elections Rutherford is calling on the head of the Maryland state election board legal mon to resign and soon I think it's time for new leadership there and to be done early with another time to correct all of these issues before we get to November's general arts
